Animaletters is an early childhood pre-reading curriculum for parents, teachers, and homeschooling professionals. Preschoolers are encouraged to learn letter sounds and develop phonemic awareness through the use of an alphabet book, an alliterated musical cd, an animal letter craft, and movement activities.

1. Using a template, your child makes an animal-shaped craft out of a letter shape. 2. Your child learns the sound the letter makes and the motion associated with the letter. 3 Your child sings the Animaletters song for that letter. 4. Your child engages in activities and games to reinforce the learning of the letter and its sound. Through these 4 steps of the Animaletters program, your child learns each letter's appearance and the sound each letter makes, thus developing the foundation for reading: phonics!
